MetaCarta's newly released GTS Analyst product can be linked to Agent Logic's Enterprise Agent Server (EAS) to correlate unstructured geospatial data with structured data such as sensors and message streams, and initiate event notifications augmented with new contextually appropriate results such as location- or time-based data.
The integration of these two products fuses the critical dimensions of correlating unstructured content with raw data from traditional signal sources to enable a revolutionary COP (common operational picture) solution. Analysts, operators, investigators and watch officers tasked to monitor an area of operation will have a more complete picture to detect and act upon key geospatial threat events in a timely manner.

MetaCarta's GTS Analyst is a map-driven analytical and operational intelligence solution that features stored queries with automated search and notification capabilities, region search based on gopolitical areas and 2-D analysis and visualization for trends analysis. GTS Analyst bridges the gap between text search and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). GTS Analyst automatically identifies geographic references using advanced natural language processing (NLP) from any type of unstructured content in a customer's archives, such as email, web pages, newswires or cables.
It assigns a latitude and longitude to these references so that users can analyze their text archives using geographic maps, keywords and time as filters. The results of a query are displayed on a map with icons representing the locations found in the natural language text of the documents and as a text results list. Both the icons and text summaries are hyperlinked to the documents they represent.
Agent Logic's EAS delivers a complete set of event detection and response capabilities, including complex event processing, real-time alerting, user-driven rule creation, and automated response triggering. EAS detects complex events across disparate sources of structured and unstructured data, such as sensors, enterprise applications and databases, and then automatically performs correlation through the analysis of user-defined rules that are configured from within EAS Web interfaces. When a rule indicates that an event of interest has been found, or when exceptions or anomalies occur, any number of actions can then be initiated, including email and instant message alerts, Web Service and business process activation, and real-time browser display.
