MetaCarta GTS is the company’s flagship product - a comprehensive geographic text search solution that enables users to rapidly locate high relevance documents by combining text search with maps. The enterprise version of MetaCarta GTS is delivered as an Appliance.

MetaCarta GeoTagger - Enterprise
GeoTagger is a production-level geographic entity resolver that parses documents, extracts geographic references within the content, and resolves the geographic meaning intended by the author. This geotagging process allows the system to assign latitude and longitude coordinates and country code tags in an XML output, which may be used as metadata and for processing by third-party systems. Just as human readers assess the likelihood that the author intended a particular meaning, the GeoTagger generates a confidence score for every identified location. The confidence score is a number between zero and one that is the probability that the author intended the geographic meaning represented by the coordinates. The enterprise version of MetaCarta GeoTagger is delivered as an Appliance.
